Job Description:
To support our continued global growth, TGM Research is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, and finance operations across our Singapore, Vietnam and UAE branches.
As the Finance Manager at TGM Research, you will play a key role in driving finance team performance, delivering clear financial updates to the Board on key business metrics, and supporting effective business decision-making. This position is responsible for leading the company’s forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow planning processes, while ensuring financial accuracy and timely reporting.
Working closely with accountants across multiple branches, internal teams, external stakeholders, and client service leaders, you will help ensure that finance operations are reliable, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
This role is well-suited for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Responsibilities:
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and cash flow planning; monitor performance against targets and flag variances
- Manage bill and salary verification, timely payment processing, and overdue balance tracking
- Coordinate with accountants across Vietnam, UAE, and Singapore to ensure accurate, consolidated financial reports
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports with clear commentary on trends and performance
- Deliver financial updates to the Board; translate data into actionable business insights and support target-setting
- Partner with Client Service teams on contract terms and commercial matters; liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal finance policies across all entities
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team — driving accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement
- Support ad hoc projects and special assignments as directed by management
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in accounting and finance
- Minimum 3+ years in financial team management roles
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance, including IFRS, VAS, and other applicable frameworks
- Proven skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and management reporting
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional, multicultural, and with global teams
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions
- Strong leadership skills, with a high level of ownership and accountability
Nice to have:
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, or equivalent
- Experience working with accounting systems such as Xero, Zoho, or MISA AMIS
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI and process automation (VBA or equivalent)
